forth try to post something - after some seconds again and again: "Website currently unavailable" I think this board should go to another provider. A321 Sharklet MSN 5295 The CFM56-powered MSN5295 aircraft – which displays the “First Sharklet A321” message on its fuselage – was used during the certification and flight test campaign for these wingtip devices

This is also a step forward towards the A321 NEO's certification. With sharklets integration to airframe and PW engines already certified, NEO certification should come quickly. The PW engine is not yet certified on the Airbus, and can't be it untill it actually fly on the A32x. Although the engine by itself it certified. However AFAIK it is only the CSeries version thta so far has been certified The engines are certified, the sharklets are certified, so they could start testing the PW engines on the A 319/20/21. I assume that is what philidor was talking about, otherwise they could start delivering the neo.
