A bit of info on A340 4R-ADA, a friend of mine went for a talk at Kemble airfield last night and the Airport manager said the landing fee for it was £20,000 ! He would not say what the parking fees are though ! My guess very high landing fee and very low parking charges ?

Also from my visit this pm to Kemble an update on A340 4R-ADA MSN 32s progress ! It's been stripped of everything saleable, engines radar etc and has been towed to the far side (non active) of the airfield. This is where the chopping starts, soon

I would have thought an 18 yr old B777-200er would have had a future ? BA still fly older ones while re equipping with B787s !

I would have thought an 18 yr old B777-200er would have had a future ? BA still fly older ones while re equipping with B787s ! I wouldn't be surprised if this aircraft has quite a high number of cycles considering SQ who previously owned the aircraft used the aircraft on rather short flights within Asia.
