Hello all;
Just saw in a portuguese forum that TAP has supposedly signed a letter of intentions for 6 more A330Neos to arrive in 2023. If that is true, besides being pleased with the aircrafts - wich already held 70% of long haul duties -, it means the company will continue expainding its network

Everything has aligned quite nicely for TAP and the A339. I have no idea how old these plans were for the additional frames, however, they must be pleased with the performance and overall cost of operating these airplanes...excellent news for the A330NEO program, Airbus and TAP.

The introduction in service of the type went quite well. There no major hiccups, and the passengers, or should I say the clients, love it. About the cost factor; on a recent interview the company CEO referred that per each Transat flight, A339s cost less U$D 5.500 to operate compared with older A330s And some more new rourtes are being 'cooked' to be operated with the now flagships of the fleet. to start soon. These are; - Cancun (CUN), - Orlando (MCO), - Lima (LIM), - Cape Town (CPT).
