Wished they had painted something about the 1st ULR, or even at least a sticker??....... was expecting the same thing I believe reading either here or on another forum that this will be the 5th ULR that is delivered to SQ so let's wait and see if they do anything for 9V-SGA. I wouldn't be surprised though if SQ doesn't put anything special on the aircraft considering they didn't do anything on their first A380 or 787-10 despite being the first operator. But anyway, we shall see! |

I also think Airbus is stressing how few and small the differences with a regular A359 are. Its main sales point is that the sub-type choice is reversible. Not marking the first -ULR as special is consistent with this marketing speech.
