This incident happened in March this year. I had the feeling it had been shortly discussed here, but I could not find any post.
The issue seems to be vertical separation, but I really cannot say anything about it. Let's hope this remains an isolated incident.

I seem to remember this, the incedent was a couple of years back 2 or 3 ? May be the incidents reports findings were published early this year ?

I just found this tweet, so it was early this year ! What I find amazing is that it did a number of barrel rolls, the crew had to shut down an overheating engine, and the aircraft dropped over 10,000 feet before the flight crew recovered control, re-lit the engine, and made an emergency landing in Muscat. 2 passengers seriously injured, minor injuries to the flight attendant and 2 other passengers, flight crew and 2 other passengers uninjured. I have total admiration for the flight crew, and new respect for the build quality of Challengers, which I saw repeatedly flying low overhead growing up in the Montreal suburb of Ville St. Laurent.
