Yeah even Skyliner still showing Hanian registration. But there is a post in the previous page which mention ZS-SDC to be the new South African registration It was painted in SA-colors with registration B-304Z. But, both Planespotters and RZjets say it will become ZS-SDC hex 00AFE9.

How do you guys want us (moderator) to handle this? should we create a new thread under delivered Frame and call it South Africa Airlines and move this thread to it? it is getting more complicated when frames changes hand after delivery to the original intended airlines We should just create a thread on every Airbus Type that is specifically about Aircraft transferring Airlines after Delivery from FAL.

Not sure this is gonna be maintainable for A320 family though. Would be really hard to keep track of aircraft movements after deliveries when clubbed into one single thread.

I think we can do it for new delivered frames but we won't be able as many mentioned. Most probably the South Africa ones will be the last

I think we should move it to South African Airlines thread I agree, I guess the idea is to then use Post #1 to detail its new "user" and build on from there to were ever it moves on to next ..... etc ? One point though, in 7 or 8 years time when more frames start coming off lease and move on to new users will this be practical to maintain ? So far, our focus has been on new aircraft only, with an exception for A380s (our namesake type !), which we have been trying to follow even after introduction into airline service. For other types, our reporting stops after the first commercial flight (except for incidents, of course, but this is a specific matter). We also follow A350s in greater detail than other types, keeping a specific thread for each individual frame (unlike other widebodies, A330s or 787s for instance). We should stick with that policy, in my opinion. We need to account for all changes (whether ownership, operation or livery changes) that happen before or at delivery, and then forget about it. An aircraft may be sold, purchased, leased in or out, repainted ... That is happening all the time, but it isn't our focus since we don't intend to keep an updated record of all fleets worldwide. So, I think the MSN 226 thread, like all A380 or A350 threads, should be named after the aircraft first operator, while the first post in the thread should make the frame pre-delivery history clear. The thread itself should be classified with all others from the same operator. Isn't it what we did for ex-Skymark A380s, or am I confused ? Should we also, for the record, have a specific thread about all A350s (and Skymark A380s ?) that have changed operator before delivery ? I leave it to moderators to answer that question.

I agree with philidor on this, once A350 delivery reaches 500, there might be aircraft changing hands every week. It is simply not possible to track all changes after the first delivery and changing them under different folders here.
To be honest, I don't even track whether a frame leaves TLS or not. As long as it's been contractually delivered, in my mind the manufacturing/production process has finished - it's been officially handed over to the new owner. Whether it's been subsequently painted afterwards or stored somewhere else, it's simply the owners' (airlines or lease company) business, I don't really care.
