That's weird, have we missed the FF?.. yes it's strange, i 've just found a RTO on the 2de may but no flights Moving to 1st flight from A380 flightline. www.flightradar24.com/AIB01CX/207e9bd2I guess the short stop at DC was maybe for an VIP visit. But it also interesting that the space on standard flightline seems to be at the limit. |

The third operator of the type worldwide, the Mauritian national carrier will be leasing the two units from Air Lease Corporation. Most recently, it had been expecting the already-delayed second A330neo, 3B-NBV (msn 1890), to arrive later in April but it has yet to be delivered. The delays in the delivery of the two aircraft have forced the carrier to extend the operation of two of three remaining A340-300s that were supposed to be retired in November and December last year, resulting in schedule delays and damage to reputation, the airline argued. "Contrary to what some people want to believe, the delay in delivery of the A330neo was never caused by a financial problem. Everything was related to the manufacturing," Air Mauritius said, according to L'Express. The A330neo is part of a wider fleet renewal for the Indian Ocean-based carrier. According to its third-quarter accounts to December 31, 2018, it will phase in two A350-900s in October/November this year, then two more aircraft of the same type by 2024. However, in March airline sources confirmed it was in talks with Airbus to defer the delivery of one of the two A350s due to arrive in 2019, but that it would definitely take delivery of the two A330-900s." |
