Shouldn't the title be changed to 4 A330-900neos? Title will change when the aircraft is delivered We back to that definition of delivery again, the thread title and the first post should be updated in my view because contractually third and fourth frames been delivered long time ago. |

Like Ravi1925 says, the list will be updated when a physical delivery takes place. If the contractual deliveries would be used on this forum then Azul would have 0 (zero) because all 4 (four) were delivered (contractually) to Avolon. |

All delivery dates of Airbus aircrafts on this forum are defined as "flown out FAL with non-test registration", except for A380s and A350s we also added contractual delivery dates. This is the rule we've been following even before I joined. This allows us mods to update the delivery dates promptly as soon as the aircrafts fly out instead of waiting for monthly Airbus updates. And as peter mentioned, taking official handover into account will likely involve lessors and this likely requires more inside knowledge. In the cases of Airbus delivered to aircrafts to lessor only and after a couple months lessor hands over the aircraft to airline, deciding which date to use brings more complexity. |
