Seems like Aer Lingus is taking an A330-200 on 5 year lease, that is coming from Qatar Airways

Those A330-300 (or -200) do not have to be new frames. I would find it a bit strange adding new A330-300 instead of A330-900 in the year 2020.

Quite interesting, Aer Lingus and IAG are actually preferring new A333s to A339s ! Airbus must be in need of orders for a quick delivery, and must have offered a great deal, or perhaps quick availability played a part (T 7000 engine delays ?).

Looks like neither Aer Lingus nor IAG has -300's on order, unless they are in the 5 undisclosed. However, Aer Lingus is listed in the O+D sheet with an order for 5 -900's which makes me believe 1950 and 1951 are -941's

And they already have 8 A330-300s in their fleet, so common type / engines / spares ?

They have these two ? peter Not as far as I know, so ok, they must be two of the five undisclosed -300's.
