I've recently sent something using ogle translate into 26 EU languages to the EC at their request but have no way of telling if and who I will have offended!

Confirmation by flightglobal: I hope next taiwanese airline to order a350-1000 will be China Airlines (6 options) to replace 4 747-400.
curious about whether those options expired or not ..... |

just noticed following from Starlux press conference back in Mid March - Delivery start from batch 7 and improvements will include following :
- Starlux probably "will" be the first customer to use the advance sidewall panel which translates to additional 4" in cabin width
- Starlux probably "will" be the first customer to use Sharkskin coating on wings

Based on Airbus' October O&D sheet, Starlux has converted 4 A350-1000 to A350-900. So the order is now for 8 -1000 and 9 - 900

The airline had placed orders for 17 A350s in March this year, part of a fleet agreement which also includes a batch of leased Airbus A321neos. But Starlux has partially retreated from the A350-1000 having originally committed to 12 of the variant, cutting its order to eight. It will instead take four more A350-900s, bringing its total of the smaller model up from five to nine, according to Airbus's latest backlog revision. |
