I don't think they'll be -LRs, all articles I could find so far only speak about 321s....

I don't think they'll be -LRs, all articles I could find so far only speak about 321s.... Indeed. ORY-EWR is 3,171 nm according to GCM. Even with the heavier business class seats, a 76 passenger load should not require the extra capability of the LR. A regular A321neo can do the job I'd say.

Indeed but among the few articles avail, only the fg one speaks about LR, and only in one spot, among a few others mentioned as neos... I guess the fg writer got confused maybe.

The fact that they got the type name wrong (it's either A321neo or A321 LR) suggests to take all the assertions in the article with a grain of salt.
