OQH diverted to Baku early morning on December 23 when operating as QF1 from Singapore to London. According to Australian media reports, the crew received a fire alert from the cargo bay but nothing was found after landing.

Update December 24: Qantas dispatched OQD to Baku to pick up the stranded passengers, plus engineers to check OQH.
