You know what I meant peter . I wonder if ALAFCO is actively looking for a new customer for those 3. And they have one more coming (I guess msn338).

Ouch for some reason I missed that MSN285 was delivered..
I think we need a sub-category somewhere for frames that have been delivered but went into storage (Alafco, EY,..).

In fact that's a thread for A320 Family frames, where we don't have a thread for each MSN, but here we do.....

Ouch for some reason I missed that MSN285 was delivered.. I think we need a sub-category somewhere for frames that have been delivered but went into storage (Alafco, EY,..). But the problem is should we move the "delivered but stored" frames into the "A350 production - Frames Delivered" sub-board or not. I believe currently the standard is if the frame leaves TLS, it's moved to "frames delivered section". If not they stay in here (A350-900 sub-board). Also the Alafco frames and EY frames are different. The Alafco frames don't have a final operator found yet thus still staying at TLS however EY frames is delivered to the final user but put into storage by user so what should be the standard of the new category is another question.

Within the monthly O&D spreadsheet, Airbus is always particularly keen to display how many frames been delivered and how many in operation (Boeing doesn't).
So the question really is whether this board want to keep with Airbus tradition, and separate these two categories.
During any frame's 20-30 years life, there will always be storage time, maintenance down time, and/or in between operator/lessor. So EY frames are in those kind of "usual" down time (although a bit strange right at the beginning of their life). This could apply to a number of frames in Hong Kong Airlines as well, I've heard there are withdrawing a few frames at the moment.
The Alafco frames and (don't forget) the three frames stored in LDE with Xingxiang Leasing (MSN246, 251, 260) are in the same category - been delivered to the lessors, but no operator at the moment. I think they deserve a separate sub-category within the "A350 production - Frames Delivered" sub-board.

But Airbus shows all delivered A350s as in operation with airlines, even those that are stored and/or owned by lessors.
