Very interesting, thanks 380_Brisbane!! a380.boards.net/post/134026/thread Not only Belugas are moving parts of A320 between sites. As I am writing, one of the 3 Airbus ships (CIUDAD DE CADIZ) is 1/3 way from Montoire (France) to Mobile (Alabama). The other 2 are VILLE DE BORDEAUX and CITY OF HAMBURG. These ships, very much like our Beluga and Beluga XL, are Roll-on / Roll-off. To follow the ships , I go to www.marinetraffic.com and enter the name of the ship in the search box (top right of screen). I thought it would be interesting to stop looking at the sky, for a change.

That is very cool. Never thought of doing the Ship Tracking as well. How do they get the parts to China? I thought it was by ship as well?

The news is, that Airbus has found work for their RoRo ships, that are now doing less work for the A380. The shipments to Mobil and Tianjin were not done on Airbus owned ships.
