That was a press release/announcement of the new aircraft registration and name to acknowledge the contribution from SRB. This is not a delivery, the aircraft MSN 2061 hasn't even fly for a single time yet. Delivery of MSN 2061 is scheduled for next month, if everything goes well.

Strange as they confirmed on Twitter that it had in fact been delivered already. We have already taken delivery and it will be in the air very soon! ^Christian

All 10 a330-300 of virgin atlantic will be retired until end of 2028: corporate.virginatlantic.com/content/dam/Virgin_Atlantic_Annual_Report_2023.pdfpage 40 "n the year ahead, we will reach a full complement of A350s, taking our final two deliveries and build our total fleet count from 41 to 45 with four further A339s entering the fleet and retirement of two of our A333s. We had previously planned to retire all of our A333s by 2026, transitioning to 100% next generation in the same year as A339s replaced the A333s. Due to phasing of aircraft deliveries and retirements, in line with delivering our Velocityx strategic plan, the eight A333s that we currently operate are now planned to exit the fleet by the end of 2028, pushing back our transition to a 100% next generation fleet"

Hi all,
Anyone have any more new info on G-VSRB delivery? Still seems to be sitting in Toulouse. The Virgin Group post says that they plan for it to enter service in May. Has this been pushed back since the post?

May 6th is still showing 4 Neo flights on LHR-JFK and 1 Neo on LHR-Tampa. So they have just over 2 weeks to do 4/5 test flights and have the aircraft delivered. Do-able , but may be delayed by a week or two.
