All three frames (2018, 2019 and 2025) are needed for operation from October and November, to replace the A330-300s. Airbus is pushing on to get them delivered on time, especially with 2019 which had a production line incident during manufacturing process.

Didn't know they were retiring the -300s this early.

All 10 A330-300s are on 12 years’ lease, with the 4 (already retired) A330-200s, that’s why Virgin originally ordered 14 A339, it’s for like-to-like replacement.
