It almost feels like QF gets the more bizarre air incidents more than the usual kinds. To name a couple more, you have the exploding O2 bottle punching a hole through a 747, and the mid-air sudden dive incident of that anomalous A330 that was also involved in a related issue previously, which is still unexplained as of today.

-OQD is out of action in LAX since the 25th after some sort of contamination with the yellow hydraulic system. The aircraft only came out of maintenance at MNL on the 20th and QF expects the aircraft to remain out of service for at least the next 2 days.
