Looks like the A330neo is winning a new customer.

Rumours are Condor, with up to 16 x A330-900 going to the German airline.

I guess these are replacements for the B767s ?

A good time to replace these old frames, most (10) are over 25 years old. Lots of white tail

A330NEOs already built and many more due to be built soon as Air Asia plan to reduce there order

for A330NEOs from 78 down to 15 !!!

Maybe the younger few B767 frames LN 746, 747, 828, 829 and 840 (20-22 years old)

might be up for freighter conversion ?

Permanently taken down apparently. I'm guessing someone from the inside did not appreciate future fleet news being posted publicly before an official annoucement.

This was the first post mentioning Condor purchase, I think this deserve a place in this thread.

Direct order of 7 A330neo from Airbus will contain 3 "white tails" from Garuda and 4 from Air Asia X.

German leisure carrier Condor’s long-haul fleet replacement will include orders for seven Airbus A330-900s directly from the manufacturer.
But it will lease the other nine to provide the overall total of 16 aircraft. Condor has not specified the source of the leased jets.
Airbus chief executive Guillaume Faury confirmed during a first-half results briefing that the airframer would be supplying seven A330neos to the carrier, but did not indicate whether these were aircraft that had previously been intended for other customers.
