That's more economy seats than all seats combined in other carriers. Will be interested in the seat map.

I'm not that statistics guy, so can FabienA380 help me? Will Transearo be able to bring the A380 to SZG, which has a 2750x45m runway. Just talking about landing there. Obviously the taxiways would probably be needed to be widened.

So it seems the bet on it was bold but not too far from expectation.

Peter you may be on to something with this. As was posted in the convoy info AB will need more time for configuration on Transaero A380. Really hope you're right, may even change my bet over to that one as well.

(sorry peter) I think we will have to wait heaps before seeing MSN196 in a convoy, latest periods of time between convoy and delivery for a HoV, planned by Airbus, is about 10 months (MSN166, ETH, convoyed February and planned delivery for December, plus MSN162, SKY, convoyed December and originally planned for delivery in Aug/Sep...)... MSN196 might not be delivered before the end of this year, and it is also showed by the number of MSN, MSNs now convoyed by Airbus are in the 170s, it's never been seen to jump 20 in a row, especially for a Hov............

Well, how is the current political and economical situation going to play with Transaero and its A380 order?
Russian tour operators are going down the train faster that anyone can follow. Russian holidaymakers are stranded at foreign airports and get even kicked out of their hotels in Spain and Greece. No public russian servant can realisticly spend his or her 'future' holiday abroad as Pres. Putin forbade it. The rouble is losing value as well.
You think this is the kind of climate in which Transaero wants to take delivery of her birds with unseen seat numbers? Or, in the light of recent developments with BC, might even Airbus have a close look at the order (to not build white tails)?
And last but not least, might a russian ban to overfly its territory maybe help Airbus garner more orders as the then longer routes around russian airspace 'help' the A380s business case?
