Filed TLS-SIN today as AIB585 at 4PM local. SIN is where the second hand ex-DL 77Ls and ex-EY 77Ws were repainted. so fair assumption is this is for repaint and other induction rework.

Do we consider this a delivery flight or we just wait to see if it will return to TLS after the paint?

Do we consider this a delivery flight or we just wait to see if it will return to TLS after the paint? Airbus callsign and Airbus finance registration, I guess not a "proper" delivery yet ?

It's a difficult one, if you consider Sichuan frames, e.g. MSN 571, even after contractually delivered, the transfer flight to CHS was still under Airbus callsign (and after that, all backwards and forwards flights between TLS and CHS all done by Airbus pilots with Airbus callsign). So this could well be a delivery flight, but operated by Airbus pilots (because AI pilots are still under training). We will know for sure in 2 weeks' time, with Airbus O&D spreadsheet.

Agreed we will find out in due course. My quess is AI crew will collect it from SIN after it's been finished off !
