I don't understand why entry into service is set for 2025 ? They are all stored and ready to go in a couple of months after some maintenance.

On the Internet are statments from Lufthansa: We get the Aircraft first and later to Edelweiss. C/N 226 and 245 are in MALTA for maintenance ( ARR 04.07.23 and 04.08.23 ) C/n 35,45,79,363 are in VICTORVILLE ( C/N 45 was in the air 30.08.23 for18 min.) ( You Tube Video). The Problem is the new outfit for the LH-cabin ( late arr. for the ALEGRIS - Cabin ). So LH needs the A/C for 1 or two years. ( the same is the Arr of the 787-9 late Arr. now 2024? Boings Problens?) and so AUA / OS get the 5 LH 787-9 A/C in 2024/5.

Saw some rumours the ex-LATAM might fly some for Lufthansa first? Looks like operator of msn 226 and msn 245 will be until 2026 airline outside Lufthansa Group - probably Thai Airways: "The other two aircraft were also originally ordered by LATAM Airlines. They will be in service with another operator until the transfer to the Lufthansa Group. For this reason, the MSNs will only be announced at a later date,"
