I've been tracking Boeing and Airbus orderbooks for widebodies and I'll share that information once the end of June figures are available. With the record deliveries discussed above and fairly modest numbers of new orders both companies have seen their widebody orderbooks decline. This is probably just due to a combination of product and economic cycles and anyway it could change dramatically next week at the Paris Air Show !!

Half-year figures out for Boeing and Airbus. After 6 months of the year, we have ;
747 - 12 767 - 12 777 - 47 787 - 17
Boeing total 88
A330 - 54 A380 - 8
Airbus total 62
Industry total 150
Total deliveries for 2013 look to be heading for similar numbers to last year. Both the 787 and the A380 should be delivered in greater numbers in the second half. The 777 and the A330 look set for record years.
Current records for annual widebody deliveries are ;
Industry total 319 - 2012
Boeing total 186 in 1986 and 2012
Airbus total 133 in 2012
Industry model A330 101 in 2012
Boeing model 747 92 in 1970
Airbus model A330 101 in 2012

I am wondering how accurate the numbers from Airbus are each month, I am running a spreadsheet (private) both for the A 320X and the A 330/340. I have to correct the numbers upwards once in a while for certain month or a year afterwards.. For example there are two more A 330 sold in 2012 than the year end numbers for 2012 show.
According to skyliner, planespotter and Finkenwerder bloq there were more A 320 family aircraft delivered than the 38 shown for Juni. My count was 41.

According to skyliner, planespotter and Finkenwerder bloq there were more A 320 family aircraft delivered than the 38 shown for Juni. My count was 41. They are all showing the physical delivery of the aircraft, which not always is equal to the contractual delivery of the aircraft that Airbus is reporting. The latter happen when Airbus get the money and what the investors and market care about, while the spotters and aviation entusiast are more interested in the physical delivery

There is more than one definition of a "delivery". Airbus is probably using a legal definition (= a transfer of aircraft property) while you may be using a technical definition (= a delivery flight). This may lead to some differences in numbers.
