Unless I missed some piece of information, we still don't know why this frame was particurly slow in FAL (it was overtaken by several others). Was the timeline the airline's choice ? Was there some technical issue ? Was some special work performed in a flightline hangar? We may never know ...

The good thing is that MSN115 is already on the move, it looks like they are trying to recover some time  |

It's used for calibrating the magnetic compass -> compass swing

I believe Boeing calls it the "compass rose".
