The fan will be made by Japan Aero Engines Corporation (JAEC). But i have no detaild information about the materials. I went to their website... me no capiche a single word.  To me it seems to be just their financial reporting information. |

These things are not unusual during these initial stress tests. Remember, the RR Trent XWB also experienced some glitch during similar tests. It was something about a "cracked seal" that needed redesign and had to be retrofitted to the engine on the A380 test bed before it made that first flight, IIRC. |

With the NEO, will they start with MSN1 or continue on the "CEO's" MSN numbers?

They will continue counting, it's the same assembly process.
