A recap of the first flight today. Couldn't wake up early enough to watch it live. It makes a helicopter noise when taking off...j/k. Impressively quiet!

Where are those charts from? If Darrell Huff was still alive, he would issue a new edition of his famous book using these as cautionary tales... Yeah, another marketing BS, this time from Airbus. They forgot to tell that they are comparing NEO to CEO from year 2010. Without sharklets and all other enhancements. And according to John Leahy higher seat counts are retrofitable. If that is indeed the case for CEO than suddenly we come back to around 12% improvement. Which of course isn't bad, but doesn't sound as good...

Is MSN 6101 the only A320 to have been rolled out so far, or did I miss the next one ?

Then we missed the roll-out, and its date, in this thread and the "A320neo update" thread !

I don't think it has rolled out yet though...
Also I think it might be hard to get some dates for all neo's roll outs...

They forgot to tell that they are comparing NEO to CEO from year 2010. Without sharklets and all other enhancements. Well, nobody is going to replace an 2013 A320 with sharklets with an 2015 A320neo. The comparisons are valid because the A320neo's on order will replace the oldest A320s in service and not the newest aircraft.
