I don't think it has rolled out yet though... Also I think it might be hard to get some dates for all neo's roll outs... Spotterxfw, should we consider that MSN 6286 has already been rolled out (if so, at what date ?), or is she back in FAL ? Fabien, A320neo roll-out will be a major metric to observe production ramp-up. If we cannot have exact roll-out dates, we can perhaps keep the month of roll-out on record ... If not, we'll have to be satisfied with first flight date !

It is without engines so I don't think we can consider it as roll out.

IndiGo signed a MOU for the purchase of 250 A320 neos. According to the linked article: In my calculations that's 430 neo's. Is this going the "Kingfisher Way"??

In my calculations that's 430 neo's. Is this going the "Kingfisher Way"?? Why ? Many narrowbody operators replace aircraft after 5 years (Ryan Air, for instance - I suppose Air Asia and Lion Air are doing just the same), while deliveries may be spread over 10 years or more, if necessary. IndiGo may never operate more than 150 planes and yet buy several hundreds, starting with a quick shift of its existing fleet to the neo. What may block the system is the second-hand market capacity to absorb so many five-years old A320s. In case of market saturation, deliveries would just be delayed.

IndiGo has previously placed orders for 280 Airbus aircraft (100 A320ceo and 180 A320neo).In my calculations that's 430 neo's. Is this going the "Kingfisher Way"?? It is quite an aggressive expansion. They might be focusing on maintaining a young fleet by releasing older frames (100ceos?) while making use of the extra 5% gain in efficiency by 2020 over the 2015 neos.

Well, at least IndiGo is a money maker in India. One of the few though.

They already SENT OUT - 15 frames MSN - 2844 till 3335 + one newer MSN3676 went to ETIHAD.
