The certification only counts for A320neo's with CFM LEAP engines not A321neo's, correct?

Correct. A321neo certification is due at the end of the year or early next year.

The numbers cited in the above tweet (50 A320neo or 20 A350) do not suggest much further increase in stored inventory.
I wonder what exactly is Airbus doing. Aircraft usually are stored outside, so I don't think they are actually building anything. They might be just expanding parking areas.

I don't think Leeham's wording is correct. Airbus probably decided not to close the A320 and A330 lines, but I don't think they are cancelling all workers' vacations outright, they are probably offering incentives to make sure the lines are manned through the summer, which is somewhat different. Of course, the end result is the same.

It will be quite some work to complete all these "gliders" while the main production goes at full speed. I wonder if production has become too "lean" after all? Every hickup creates chaos it seems.
