NEOs should need more assembly time than CEOs at this stage, so I wonder how they manage to keep the line going as usual.
With the pace on the A320 line being so fast, roll out should happen pretty soon ...

I assume the test equipment will be installed in another hangar.

This is interesting, Lufthansa has split its engine choice for their neo order, 60 will be Pratt powered and 40 will be GE powered. Unless they've changed their order make up, 35 are A321neos with the rest of the order (65 ac) being A320neos. Actually, they have changed their order ( See here)and they now have 60 A320neos and 40 A321neos. Presumably the 40 GE frames are for the A321neo, in a situation similar to their ceos where their A319/A320s are CFM powered and the A321s are IAE powered www.reuters.com/article/2014/04/07/us-lufthansa-cfm-idUSBREA360J920140407

I don't think they have changed their order. LH ordered 25 A320neo's and 5 A321neo's in 2011, and another 35 A320neo's + 35 A321neo's in 2013. www.pdxlight.com/neomax.htm

Presumably the 40 GE frames are for the A321neo... According to the article, they ordered CFMs for 40 A320neos and the PWs will go on the remainder of the fleet - i.e. all the A321neos and 20 of the A320neos. If this is wrong, then this is another instance of LH's strange fleet choices. The A321neo is supposed to be better with the PWs.
