Looks like the last flight for this 30 year old B737 G-CELW, heading into Kemble

As explaned in the link above, the aim of the sale is to accelerate the replacement of Pegasus' 737NG by the A320neos the company has on order. Should we expect an A320neo sales-and-lease-back deal with ALC ?

The oldest A320 (MSN3831) is 8.1 yo. I think she will probably return to the lessor.

I pointed out that the aim of the sale is to accelerate the replacement of the 737NG by the A320neo, which is clearly stated in Pegasus' official release : "One of the main goals of the sale of aircraft is to accelerate the change in aircraft portfolio for the optimization of fuel consumption underpinned by the Company's Airbus Order dated 2012. In this respect, the Company is acting to accelerate the planned deliveries under the Airbus Order.

They are planning to keep A320neos and sell/lease all of B737s.

Showing that DL is committed to this sub-type which seems to be at its best in North America. EDIT : Actually, DL had no choice but to order these jets since Boeing exercised a put option - a rare case in which the manufacturer can force the airline to order aircraft at an agreed price. The implication is that Boeing needs more 737 NG orders before the transition to the MAX.

If put option is exercised, why would they do the production ramp up ? It seems that Boeing has been in trouble a lot recently on fill the gap between current gen. aircraft and next gen. aircraft (777 & 737 program.....)
