Does this repair restore the original service life or do they have to replace these again after the same number of flight cycles?

Does this repair restore the original service life or do they have to replace these again after the same number of flight cycles? I would assume, that we have to wait on a decision on that. I can hardly imagine that checking the pickle fork will not be incorporated in the C check. That would mean every 7,500 cycles or 730 days.

Does this repair restore the original service life or do they have to replace these again after the same number of flight cycles? It might be the case if it actually was a repair. Unfortunately, it's a quick fix (= a pickle fork replacement), which means that the new part has the same defects as the old one ...

Limited life parts, to be exchanged at a certain interval, or an inspection regime.

I cannot read the story. Can anybody summarize the information ? Does it seem to be a long and/or costly undertaking?

Thank you, bmw801 ! Given the number of aircraft concerned, the required retrofit may turn out be extremely costly.

Thank you, bmw801 ! Given the number of aircraft concerned, the required retrofit may turn out be extremely costly. Costly for the airlines, everybody else could actually earn some money producing and selling conversion sets. Adds to the cost running an NG compared to the A320ceo.
