From Delta's Facebook page (probably a slightly old image):  No routes are confirmed as of now, but rumor has it they will initially be placed on the following, beginning Nov 5-7: ATL-DTW, DTW-LAX, ATL-SFO, ATL-LAX, ATL-TPA. Lucky for me I might be making my way out to LAX to visit relatives fairly soon, so you can imagine I'm watching route deployment like a hawk! |

Delta's 1st Boeing 737-900ER completed!source courtesy of FlyerTalkThe first 737-900ER for Delta, registered as N801DZ rolled out of paint late in the evening on the 25th of August. First route is confirmed to be ATL-DTW on 5 November, and also DTW/ATL-LAX, DTW/ATL-SFO, and ATL-TPA starting on either 06 November or 07 November. Here are some pictures. The cabin pictures are with a greenish hue because they were trying out the mood lighting. Some better pictures (some that don't remind me of an emergency room in a horror movie hopefully) may come soon. Looks great though!      I may be flying to LAX around Thanksgiving or earlier, so you can bet I will try my hardest to try out Delta's new toy on DTW-LAX!

This is the 100th B737 for Lion Air, not the 100th B737 NG delivery.

I heard Boeing is planning on rewriting a part of the OEM as a result with regard to trim settings during the deicing stage. In happier news, I just booked my tickets for a weekend trip to California in January. Flying DTW-LAX-DTW on the Delta 737-900ER. Looking forward to riding it and the warm weather (although I don't mind the cold of Michigan...so far at least). |
