I heard Boeing is planning on rewriting a part of the OEM as a result with regard to trim settings during the deicing stage. Yes, but that was after a near accident involving a Norwegian 737-800 in Finland last Christmas

Flying DTW-LAX-DTW on the Delta 737-900ER. Looking forward to riding it and the warm weather (although I don't mind the cold of Michigan...so far at least). Nice! I hope you can get it! Fabien

What a twist of events. All the reports were pointing that Air Canada will sign a big order for A320 NEO but suddenly today they optioned for B737 Max for 61 firmed plus some options and right of purchase

What a twist of events. All the reports were pointing that Air Canada will sign a big order for A320 NEO but suddenly today they optioned for B737 Max for 61 firmed plus some options and right of purchase This is an important new development, as it is only the second time an Airbus operator defects to the MAX. Availability seems to have been an important factor, since AC nailed 2017 and 2018 delivery slots. This Boeing victory probably owes a lot to the recent decision to increase 737 production, which created a few new delivery slots. This also is a lost opportunity for the CSeries, and probably the reason for Chet Fuller's recent eviction.
