Looking forward to Air Canada picking up its first 737s, was on an AC A319 just before Christmas and it was definitely showing its age.

www.rentonreporter.com/business/252720241.htmlJapan Transocean Air, based in Okinawa and which JAL owns a 51% stake in, has ordered 12 737NGs (800s?) to replace their fleet of 737-400s for flights to/from Okinawa. They fly some incredibly short routes like Ishigaki-Yonaguni which is only 30 minutes gate to gate. The 400s were comfy, but these should be sufficient for such short flights, especially with the Sky Interior.

Here's the flight schedule A few things from me personally: 1) An A330/340 from OSL/CPH would've been cool, but this does the trick. 2) I've heard rumors of this for years and am glad to see it come to fruition and mentioned it to some fellow enthusiasts (both in the dorms and online) who seemed interested. 3) My capstone (senior project) at my university involved me and a good friend of mine/fellow classmate researching the feasibility of a route between Houston and Norway, mainly because I was curious of if the rumors held any merit. We flew two routes from Houston, one to Oslo and another to Stavanger with 2x 767-200ERs. We did rather well on the rumor-driven project despite some people being skeptical. Therefore, it's cool to see that my university career came full circle with this announcement and that it's coming to fruition after spending months on end laboring over it. Not to mention it's starting without me investing any capital into it which instead went towards pizza, Chinese food, beer, Cherry coke, and ramen noodles! Needless to say I celebrated while I think some others were having a crow dinner over this. Oh and before I forget, I'd be happy to email you a PDF copy of my work. Just PM me first please.

Well, now comes the interesting part. Your project is now put to a live test and we're going to see how successful it'll be. But 44 business only shouldn't be too hard to fill, I guess?

Congratulations to Boeing on reaching this staggering milestone in Aviation history. How much do you think it will go on till? I think they can easily pass 15,000 if Boeing builds it for another 15 years.
