Boeing 787-8 routes

Ethiopian Airlines on Thursday 30MAY13 once again revised planned Boeing 787 operation. Latest changes includes the following:


Addis Ababa – Abuja 12JUN13, 14JUN13, 26JUN13 (31MAY13 operation replaced by 777-200LR)

Addis Ababa – Guangzhou Additional flights operated by
Boeing 787 in July and August 2013 is added: 03JUN13, 05JUN13, 07JUN13,
09JUN13, 11JUN13, 13JUN13, 15JUN13, 30JUL13, 01AUG13 (CAN departs on the
next day’ 31MAY13 operation replaced by 777-200LR)

Addis Ababa – Johannesburg 03JUN13 – 30JUN13 1 daily (Latest changes see Boeing 787 operating JNB service in June 2013

Addis Ababa – Lagos 28MAY13 – 02JUN13 1 daily
(Previously planned till 30JUN13; 777-200LR operating from 03JUN13).
Additional one-off flight scheduled on 07JUN13 and 10JUN13

Addis Ababa – Mumbai Boeing 787 operates until 06JUN13 (BOM departure till 07JUN13; Previously planned until 30JUN13)

Addis Ababa – Nairobi – Bujumbura Additional flights operated by Boeing 787 scheduled on 01JUN13, 02JUN13 and 05JUN13

As per 31MAY13 GDS timetable/inventory display, Ethiopian Airlines
continues to tweak its planned Boeing 787 operation. From 01JUL13 to
30JUL13, the airline is not operating the Dreamliner aircraft on 6
weekly Addis Ababa – London Heathrow route. Boeing 767-300ER aircraft operates this route during this period, although further changes remain highly possible.

As per 01JUN13 GDS timetable/inventory display, AeroMexico has
revised planned Boeing 787 operation. Per latest update, the Skyteam
member has removed planned operation on 02OCT13 (Tijuana) and 03OCT13
(New York JFK), meaning there are no planned Dreamliner operation from
02OCT13 to 13OCT13 for the time being.

Further changes to planned Boeing 787 operation, including operation
from 02OCT13 to 13OCT13, remains subject to change during the next few
months.

Norwegian from 29NOV13 is adding 4th weekly service on Oslo – New York JFK route, on board Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Reservation for the new service (Fridays) opened on 31MAY13.

Hainan Airlines today (19JUN13) opened reservation for its Boeing 787 service, which includes Beijing – Haikou and Beijing – Shanghai Hongqiao route. Originally, the airline planned to start Boeing 787 operation on 01JUL13, however the airline has postponed the launch date until 03JUL13, as of 0600hrs GMT.

China Southern on Thursday afternoon (18JUL13) local time has revised Guangzhou – London Heathrow operation on/after 27OCT13. Based on latest schedule adjustment, the Skyteam member is scheduled to operate Boeing 787-8 aircraft on this route, replacing Airbus A330-200.

In addition, Guangzhou – Auckland daily service from 28OCT13 will also be operated by Boeing 787, replacing Airbus A330-200. The airline’s plan to increase operation to 10 weekly from 04DEC13 to 01FEB14 remains unchanged.
