I have been in worse landings than this. Everybody walked away, so a good landing :-)

The landing is spectacular, but I also liked seeing the aircraft through the tree branches! Truly awesome footage!

Wow, that was rough. With Thai being a fairly new operator, the pilots need a little more experience with the aircraft I guess. But at least they didn't scratch it like Korean Air, also at Narita! Incident report here with picture... Incident: Korean A388 at Tokyo on Jul 21st 2011, engine pod strikeKorean Air was also a new operator at the time, having received their first aircraft not too long before the incident. Almost identical landing. Must be Narita's way of welcoming new A380 operators.

The footage is one of the greatest I've ever seen, and I can imagine what looked like to be a passenger on the Thai superjumbo just before touchdown... I hope FA managed to have everything locked in position! See what a yellowish light that day? At first I thought about a sandstorm, but I'm not sure if there are any deserts around NRT!! maybe some sort of post-production effect.. who knows?

Wow, I used to do the same acrobatics with my moped, many years ago and when the road finished that day, and I went crashing on that wall, for the first time I felt the need to have more room for my games! Here you go, I started loving runways (even the shorter ones), and of course every winged metal on them.. AAAAh, youth.. Congratulations to the pilots, It's always stunning seeing so many aluminium tonnes doing dancing approaches toward the runway, nice post Baroque!
