Nice photos spotterxfw. Thanks for sharing The Photo of US Airways A321 (without sharklet) and then the one for American Airlines (with Sharklet) made wonder, Isn't better now that US airways and AA are one company after the merger official approval, to have the US frames equipped with Sharklet? Does anyone know how long the process takes to switch to sharklet specially for a new frame? As far as I know, the merge has not been fully completed yet.

yeah that is totally different. Two airlines own by the same parent company for different purpose. For US and AA they are one company and will operator as one airline their frames will all have one livery and logo (they will have their low cost airlines I believe in form of American eagle but this is different story) They weren't one company when the aircraft was ordered nor when the configuration had to be decided.

Totally agree. But my question, since they are now, Isn't it harder to do the change now?. We know the parts are orders long time ago, but I was thinking at least the livery to be painted with the new livery

I think it is too early, the American Airlines Group was formed just one month ago... Also I haven't yet seen the new common-livery?... Fabien
