********************************************************************* Cebu Pacific's first A330 has been built and is on the flight line. The airline has 8 A330-300s on order and will be packed with 436 seats!!!!! Interestingly, the livery on the tail is different to that currently painted on their A320s. Looking good. If IIRC, 436 is 4 short of the maximum the A330 can carry. It's going to be a tight fit. But Filipino people are generally small built, so it should be less of a problem me thinks.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think those 436 seats are achieved by stripping out first and business class, not by more narrow seats. So you should not notice that many difference with any other Y cabin out there.

This plane will be an all-economy class seater, no business nor first class seats. I thought this will allow the airline to install 436 seats in a 8 abreast config, but you think it will be 9 abreast?
I agree it will be tight in a 3-3-3 config (16.5" seats!).

Thanks. I never realised that some operators are already using 9 abreast on the A330. In that case it's gonna be a henhouse Except the 777 has 17" seats while the A330 has 16.5" seats.
