I would also fly on the 787, after waiting some months and see how it performs in "normal" use.

I've flown on it before the grounding and loved it, but a 90 minute flight to Hiroshima and back is a little too short to test the plane. Next time I'd try and fly one on a longer route like IAH-LAX or something international. Then again I'm too loyal to Delta to make a switch.

I've flown it as well, from UBE to HND last October, I've found it so noisy, maybe compared to what I've been used with the A38, but I could not even hear what the flight attendants were announcing, was it also your impression??... It did seem noisier than an A380, but I ended up tuning out the noise of the electrically powered hydraulic pump. I will admit it was kinda annoying of a noise, but it seems as though videos on youtube tend to distort that noise (along with the A380 flaps) mainly because they literally press the lens directly on the window.

How about we rethrow a poll in a little while (June?) to see the difference from this last poll?... Fabien
