Thanks Fabien - I am surprised - I thought there is going to be a significant number of ...MAX7.

Perhaps the MAX7 could be included in the options or the purchase rights?... What I don't understand in fact is that part of the deal for the MAXplanes - AC is giving Emb190s up to Boeing, 10 in 2015 and 10 in 1st half of 2016, though AC should get the MAX only from 2017 and only 2 of them... (I assume the rest in following years from 2018)... So that's a quick fleet reduction of 20 within a year and a half without (YET)replacement,... ?

I wonder if Boeing has already some customers for those E190s. One would expect they need to replace those A320 from 1990 and 1991 fast. But ? It looks like AC has tough times - so they want to economize..... or "restructualise" as it is called elsewhere. ASK of E190 is of course higher. They are of course not in the state of Alitalia, but....

Not my intention to dampen your hopes but that article was from last December. Early this year, however, AC dropped plans to replace the remaining Embraers in the near term, opting to operate them to their full life to reduce capex. www.cbc.ca/news/business/air-canada-takes-a-pass-on-bombardier-cseries-jets-1.2643797I did wonder where AC Rouge plays into all of this. Here's a relevant quote: Will Rouge take Boeing Aircraft from AC options or will they order the CSeries for it when the Rouge fleet is up for replacement...

And above all that there are significant cashflow problems. True is that AC seems to be and soon will be operator of the oldest A320s in the air. Remains to say - we will see

I am surprised though that he didn't mention anything about FTV3 even few reports at twitter saying it will retun to flight testing very soon
