Certification for the C series is 'expected within days' Though not unexpected, it's crazy how the A320neo beat the CSeries to certification. One might say that the CSeries was an all new aircraft vs. the re-engined neo, but it shouldn't have taken this long to even so. Both Airbus and BBD had an all new aircraft perform their first flight in 2013, and since then, Airbus has managed to certify the A350 and the A320neo before the CSeries!

I'm quite surprised by the positivity here, I wouldn't bet on more than 5-10 deliveries in 2016...(unfortunately......)... Also wishing them the best successes!!
