We can't set one up !

My God what for a poll !
Here we can only observe and hope for the best. I am also surprised, I thought like Fabien that EMB is bigger than BOM.
If the option to shut down the CS program would come - it would be sad - a lot of effort already in it. True is we have now a lot of competitors in this segment: Embrear E + E2 CRJ + CS SSJ MRJ C919
and still a lot of BAe "jumbolinos" around - guzzling gas but are extremely cheap i.e......
Five players in this not extremely large segment and a question is if all 5 can survive in this market ?
Logically who will step out ? EMB + SSJ + Comac have strong governmental support - no doubt here BOM not so openly, but also got a lot of support from the G. MRJ theoretically private company, but I do believe some G. support was there

I would like all aircraft projects to succeed, but some times companies over stretch themselves. BOM either need some sort of investment / sell off or cut their loses and concentrate on the profitable parts of the business. To compete with Airbus and Boeing you will either have to have a better product or be cheaper, but cheaper normally means your planes don't last as long.

The bail out is on now according to Flight Global.
Quote- Quebec's provincial government will invest $1 billion and take a 49.5% stake in the Bombardier CSeries programme, officials disclosed today.
Bombardier's 50.5% share in the programme will transfer to a new limited partnership. Investissement Quebec will pay two $500 million instalments on 1 April and 30 June 2016.
"This move will also keep CSeries operations here in Quebec for at least another 20 years," says Jacques Daoust, minister of the economy, innovation and exports.
