Would be a tragedy to see the CSeries fading away. There is no such risk. If BBD fails, somebody else will purchase either the group, or part of it, or at least its best assets. There would be more than one bidder to get the CSeries at a fixed cheap price. |

Quebec government stated that they are willing to help BBD financially. Not sure if this comes after the BBD started the call with Airbus or if this was actually a contributor to stop the negotiation with Airbus.

Let's hope they will survive..... Opel still makes+sells cars, Alitalia still flies, but there are others who do not exist anymore like Fokker, Dornier, BAe (they still exist but are something else) - true those are today part of Airbus conglomerate but as independent company they are away. And the most unlucky ones simple are no more for instance Saab.
I am by purpose naming only some big ones.....

They received a lot of help in the past from Federal and provincial governments. But will be a new wave of help. |
