Why does everybody choose APA?..... Is it down to the Arabic ? If I am not mistaken, FabienA380 is referring to the registration. Like EY first A380, it was A6-APA and QR first was A7-APA. From the nose gear door photo this one has PA which means registration will end with PA |

From the nose gear door photo this one has PA which means registration will end with PA That was exactly what I said it is down to Arabic, all the airlines in question have an Arabic language. And AP is an important part ? So prefixing your registrations with AP is good or lucky ? Just like 888 in Asia. May be its the Active Participle bit ? I am not a linguist, but may be some one knows if I am right ? Arabic is my mother tongue. There is not such thing about luck like in Asia. It's just coincidence.
