Amazing that Skymark will soon have a bunch of A330s and A380s. They currently only operate the B737.

So of the next 90 deliveries (I excluded the Voyager to RAF to save time, when playing with excel) the following statistics can be found: Great breakdown! Just adding another category, Region (Based on Airbus's categories) Africa 6 6.6% Asia-Pacific 51 56% Europe 11 12% Latin America 4 4.4% Middle East 7 7.7% North America 9 9.9% Military 3 3.3% Back to the question of the 1000th A330, there were 8 more deliveries in June bringing the total to 992. With the delivery of the 1000th aircraft either this month or next month, I presume that the 1000th has already flown, the question is, which airline's aircraft is it and who will take the 1000th delivery.

Fingers crossed that it is Cathay! I hope so too, they are the largest operator with 37 aircraft in operation with 11 more on order.Their subsidiary, Dragonair is also a large operator of the aircraft with 18 aircraft in operation. Dragonair operates the first A330 ever built which was formerly with Cathay. I'm also hoping that whoever gets the 1000th aircraft puts a special livery on the aircraft to mark this achievement.
