Rejected Take Off. It's one of the steps that every frame takes between roll out and delivery... CFF instead means Cabin First Flight, that is the first flight a frame does with its cabin fully installed. After that, we may expect some test flight, a final Customer Acceptance Flight and, if everything has been on standard, the delivery ceremony with cake, champagne and red carpet.. Everything served with 20/30 posts here on this forum, along with some pictures and videos, and there you go! Regards AOIspotter

Delivery ceremonies are mostly staged on the first delivery of an aircraft type to an airline. I do not imagine EK celebrating another A380 delivery !

Uhmm, in my opinion, some sort of quick celebration is held anyway, come on, a slice of cake, a couple of good looking crew, champagne.... it's always a million dollar business! I agree with you that the HOV ceremony is the best (think of Quantas with laser show), but every A380 is a piece of history, even for EK!

Well, they had cake with their 25th delivery I think maybe they did a cake for the 25th, because that was also the first time Emirates was receiving 2 A380s on the same day, though not written on the cake I think... ...but every A380 is a piece of history, even for EK! I agree! Though for Emirates, they seem to have an understood continual renewal of the fleet, I think it was mentioned in an article some time ago, however I don't know how it would exactly apply, could the automatic renewal start when MSN011 gets to a certain age, or a certain time of utilization??... Fabien They had cake when delivered the 25th frame. We had a photo in the forum but not sure if this forum or the old one. It is also in one of the episode of Ultimate Airport Dubai
