Thanks XWB!! The cake obviously shows the festivities for the 25th A380 delivered, what I mean is perhaps they did a cake for the 25th delivery because it as well the first time for Emirates to receive 2 A380s on the same day (though mentioned on the cake hehe), but I might be wrong on that.. Rejected Take Off. It's one of the steps that every frame takes between roll out and delivery... Let me be precise: Taxiing is testing the motors in slow speed plus testing the breakes. RTO is full thrust and full acceleration and then testing the breaks to their limit. If all is ok, the FF @tls / CFF @xfw will follow, otherwise not. So this happens twice in the beginning and not somehow in between. |

I think maybe they did a cake for the 25th, because that was also the first time Emirates was receiving 2 A380s on the same day, though not written on the cake I think... I agree! Though for Emirates, they seem to have an understood continual renewal of the fleet, I think it was mentioned in an article some time ago, however I don't know how it would exactly apply, could the automatic renewal start when MSN011 gets to a certain age, or a certain time of utilization??... Fabien  They had cake when delivered the 25th frame. We had a photo in the forum but not sure if this forum or the old one. It is also in one of the episode of Ultimate Airport Dubai |
