Usually A380_TLS_A350 will write First and Ferry flight. He didn't write under his photos. I wonder if it was planned to return to TLS

Just sitting on the bus to XFW waiting for the next station to go back home. Pretty annoying...

Seems like A380 FFs are now always returning to TLS and aren't ferry flights anymore since MSN 155.

Seems like A380 FFs are now always returning to TLS and aren't ferry flights anymore since MSN 155. It's probably a temporary step because HFW is so 'crowded' that the aircraft would sit idle until an outfitting bay is available. Could it be that some work is performed in TLS before first and transfer flights ?

Could it be that some work is performed in TLS before first and transfer flights ? The FF is a test flight, I assume it is not unusual to find something needing some work. If this work could be done either in XFW or TLS, "crowding# could aid the decision were this work would be done. IMO there would be little reason to return on FF to TLS if everything is fine and still space in XFW.

Seems like A380 FFs are now always returning to TLS and aren't ferry flights anymore since MSN 155. Not really in fact, after MSN155 there were MSN156 and MSN157 ferrying to XFW on the same flight as FF... To me MSN155 could be an exception as it stayed for another 3 weeks at TLS after FF and I spotted it in the weighing bay so there might have been a technical issue with it, but for MSN158 it seems to me indeed to be crowd at XFW (already one or two unpainted EK frames on the FL)...
