Linie 9 actually I was always wondering indeed as well, I thought it was maybe an old name for Finkenwerder or an old code for the airport but I just had a google party and couldn't find it hmm........

FabienA380perhaps its a private Airport x= not officially ensure that X and thus pilots Airport not be confused with HAM,

I did not know my posts were subject to such scrutiny ! Nor was I aware that I was such a deviant ! It's not that I did not know the right acronym (I am sure I have used "XFW" more than once), or that I consciously refused to use it ! I suppose somehow my mind did not accept the absence of a "H", as Baroque guessed ... Obviously, a "seppuku" is the only way out of this embarrassing situation ... |

Yes, I have been using "HFW" consistently, but I swear I was not aware it was wrong ! I admit I would have liked it better that way, though ...
Perhaps you'll have noticed that, since you forum members exposed me, I have been trying to force myself to use the official XFW, though I still miss the "H" ...
