Naaah - I found it why philidor writes HFW - he wants to amuse us - it became a habit and let's admit it - it would be very strange to read XFW from him - keep using HFW - we will understand.

Thank you all. At least, I (unwillingly) provided entertainment to forum members ...

On philidor's suggestion, here's the picture of today's FL at XFW: flic.kr/p/nDRJqmwith MSN162 still unpainted, hasn't been moved since arrival on 16/05......

Reported by Bloomberg today: delivery first A380 to Skymark delayed by up to 6 months. Reason: interior parts from two suppliers don't fit and need rework, says a Skymark spokesman binged.it/1xSSDv7

Not necessary bad news for Skymark, after looking at their phasing in of the A330s, they may not be ready to operate the A380 already this year

The delay of 6 months of Skymark Airlines-MSN162 doesn't really speak to me, it was once reported to be deliverable by Aug-2014 but could it have met this challenge? (with only 8 months between convoy and delivery, though just about what MSN152-OZ1 did), or would it more have been deliverable later this year but who knows when?...
If delivery in August would have been met, a 6 month delay would lead to February (let's target 2015-Q1), or if delivered in December 6 months delayed would lead to June (2015-Q2).
I am wondering if Airbus knew about this supplier's issues earlier, could this have been a reason why MSN162 took so much time between FF and ferry to Hamburg? And so then, why would Airbus have ferried MSN162 anyways to XFW, knowing that it would be heavy delayed, and as obviously there is way more storage space at TLS than at XFW?...
