Interesting. I wonder why the tail cone is in primer. Could it be that Airbus has coated the entire aircraft in primer for protection against weather? and also took advantage in painting an anonimous blue on the fin..? Mah, this BC story will keep us busy for a long time, let's hope in a fast and happy end! Ciao AOIspotter

Yes, that is exactly what has happened. A Qantas aircraft also had this primer applied as the aircraft was temporarily in storage a380.boards.net/post/3032/thread

I think they partially repainted it. The logo was painted on in the first place and not just sticked on. However you can still some of the logo, when you download the full res. photo and zoom in, but you can literally just see the 'hint' of a star. When editing the photo a bit, I could also see that there isn't any yellow/orange left, so this shows that Airbus did a rather thorough job.
